Cocoa supplements have been in the news as an anti-aging tool.

My new piece breaks down why this is a very dubious finding:

For whatever reason, the breaking of that living connection brings in a different type of conversation and a different type of fan. I welcome it.

A major reason why I love pre-WWI film is that the number of stars with modern name recognition is scanty to say the least. The peace and quiet is lovely

The obvious advantage of streaming over movie theater movies is you can watch them at home. The secret weapon of the streamers, particularly when it comes to movies where the characters have strong accents: subtitles.

I am TERRIFIED of spiders.

There was one in my kitchen.

With shaky hands, I captured it under a glass.

I covered the top with an envelope.

I just let it go outside.

I’m shaking.

But…I DID IT! 🕷️

Hell no I’m not spending my Criterion lawsuit settlement money on Criterion stuff. They sold my data, I don’t care if other people are also doing it, I will take their settlements too. Others may be worse but Criterion was wrong.

I’m taking that sweet $6 and blowing it on sugar snap peas.
