I just checked off this David Lynch, 1993 TV miniseries off from a blind spot now. I definitely got an immediate soft spot for it and I hope it gets a nice re-release someday.

I finally checked this off of a blind spot in classic cinematic history by Luis Buñuel, Simon of the Desert. A merging of the Symbolist, Surrealist, & Decadence art through a beautiful lens of mysticism, erotic delirium, & deformities in the body and spirit before coming to a playful close.

The 4th Man is fascinating (from the man who gave us Robocop & Showgirls) its queer thriller cenima with a kind of neon noir twist that I hadn’t expected.

Milos Forman’s Loves of a Blonde kind of floored me. It definitely felt heavily inspired by the French new wave film movement.

If Mr Gunn adapts this in anyway, I will probably not have anything else to ever wish for again. This is my favorite Superman story ever that moves me to my core and fascinates me in every way shape and form true to the original Lore.
