This was a difficult book to find a home for, and I am grateful to @fuckmaxbooth.bsky.social for having faith in it.

VOCAL (Video Operators Children's Alert Line) was a coordinated effort - covered in some trade magazines of the day.

readers were encouraged to copy included missing fliers and share.

Some inappropriately creepy golf content - Sente Mini Golf (1986) has DIP switches that add photos of missing children to the attract mode (and to enable a "LOCATED" message per kid). These profiles were replaced with new ones in updated ROMs.

Modern operators seem to leave them on, a lot. 😨

A Reddit post from r/creepygaming by user SuperCamouflageShark - I saw these missing child reports on the attract mode of a Sente Mini-Golf arcade machine recently.

Yeah. Either that or an almost Constantine-like ambition to reclaim it. It's beyond brazen. Breaking literal scripture and selling it as faith. Brutalizing peaceful protestors and priests alike. Denying justice to migrants and mothers. Faith is like an IP to these sorts.
