For the first time in a while Moskey and I went for a run. Life has been overwhelming lately. I haven't had it in me to do anything other than walk 3 or 4 times a week.
The squeaky snow and 15°F and sunny weather called to me this afternoon. I didn't have to run, but I wanted to.

So glad I decided to take an extra day off today before traveling for Thanksgiving. Getting a few things taken care of but also, finding some time to rest before what will be a good, but long, weekend.

I've learned a lot about myself and what kind of people I want to spend my time with. Having to actually reach out to people to catch up on their lives makes you realize when you've got people who are worth the effort 🥰

I realized I never posted after The Back 9. I ran 8 laps for 29.44 miles total!! It was definitely challenging, that little bit of uphill climb adds up after the 3rd or 4th lap 😆. Super proud of myself for trying something new and breaking my distance PR!!

We have some hills, but overall it's pretty flat where I live. So, Sundays are for Z2 hill climbs at the Y and being the sweatiest kid I know.

Yesterday was a slow zone 2 run. Which, for me means quite a bit of walking. It's tough but my knee is a little twingie from the added stress from running on the snow. So slowing it down.
Hoping for a good amount of melting over the next several days.
