"A kingdom had already fallen, and the remaining four kingdoms struggled to survive. The Archival Accord, a group of magical librarians and researchers, have become the last line of defense, and they are not prepared for the war that is brewing as a forgotten false god grows in power.

Ideas are, no question, the cheap part. I have SPREADSHEETS of ideas, and if I keep up my current production rate, which is already unrealistically high, I will die before I finish using them all. EXECUTION is the important part.

America, you have spoken loud and clear: You do not like AI. But what if AI is the way to restart the world’s idea machine?
We’re running out of good ideas. AI might be how we find new ones.
What if the best use of AI is restarting the world’s idea machine?

Visiting the parents for Christmas, and they have a giant bathtub. Something about having an overdue soak with pen and paper to work on the neglicted writing is healing.

Well, it's been quite a year. Eight months have passed without posting, and what a crazy eight months it has been. In short, I was laid off on Valentine's Day (if you know, you know), got a new job, and navigated a new world of stress, anxiety, and uncertainty. But the words shall continue!

I have misophonia (which doesn't work well with my ADHD), and during a meeting today there was NOISE. Clicking of pens, tapping of hands on a chair, clicking of a mouse, smacking of lips, multiple people talking all at once... it became too much.

Does it count as writing if you think about your WIP at work?

Time to introduce one of my main projects (I have so many but let's focus on one at a time): "Midnight Bakery". It's a bit cozy fantasy, bit dark fantasy - perfect blend of Dark Cozy. The summary is below:

To the authors / artists / game devs / fiber artists / musicians out there thinking "how can I possibly promote my works NOW? is it even ethical to ask people to spend their limited money on my creative works?"

Art is necessary. Expression is necessary. It's basic survival for the soul/spirit/mind.

A little more on my background and writing interests:

Maggie grew up fascinated by science and biology, which led her to the career path that involved diving for freshwater mussels, wading in deep water for alligator gar, and hiking hundreds of miles to search for an elusive high-elevation toad.

Hello and welcome! My name is Maggie, and I look at toads and make maps for a living. When I'm not in the boondocks making friends with bears, I'm either attempting the writing thing, reading in a hammock, playing games, or watching anime.
