My first baking project of 2026 was Biscoff cinnamon rolls. I love making cinnamon rolls, but yeasted doughs can be tricky in my apartment. I think these are the best ones I’ve made!

Heading back to LA today after a quick trip to see my family for the holidays. Wish we could’ve stayed longer, but I am excited to go home to see our kitties!

Last week I took a Yule Log baking class. I’d tried making rolled cakes at home before but they would always crack and fall apart. This was really fun and I learned sooo much!

Seeing Winter Soldier with @patloika.bsky.social, my bestie. 💜
Dune 1 & 2 were the most perfect movies I’ve ever seen and seeing them at the Chinese theater with my wife was the best!!!
And also Skinamarink. I was so scared at the end I had to look away 💀

Mine also include The Matrix, Blair Witch, and being way too stoned in Belgium when Fellowship of the Ring was sold out so we sat in the back row for Mulholland Drive instead.

It was hands-down one of the most memorable theater-going experiences I can remember, a collective 30-minute butt-clench/armrest-grab for the final climb. And we knew he lived! Wild.
