FTL Games artist David R. Darrow passed away in May 2025. He was known to gamers for illustrating the box art for Dungeon Master as well as for FTL's first game Sundog. He also did extensive work for Hollywood films

Tried to find a "real" job/degree path for my quasi-mandatory BA. Managed to get an AA in art by accident. Went to art school. Came back. Worked at a library for years to pay bills (& because libraries are cool!) Dodged pressure to get a library degree. Burnt out at library due to a lot of factors.

I strongly recommend everyone do research sometimes 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘧𝘶𝘯.

Look something up on Wikipedia. Go to the little citation. Follow it. Read the article it's referencing. Follow links to the original interview. Read the paper written by the interviewee

It genuinely makes you appreciate journalism
