OK, I'm late on this but I have some #Grammys thoughts on the recent nominations.
Music was.... well, it was mixed in 2025 but it's not without its gems. At least the gems I thought were good.

Welp, 2024 was a slightly better year … at least during the middle in terms of pop culture. I hope 2025 doesn’t suck… or at least doesn’t suck as much. And here we are in 2025 and boy, this was a year! And since this is about music -- boy, this year SUCKED! Whether it's the dumb-ass takes of people saying that hip-hop is dead because their beloved Canadian culture vulture wasn't on top despite him dropping an album and well, I can't say shit about it because I didn't listen to it but it came and went.

I got some pieces and bits to share:
- Frieren fans were just as annoying as Solo Leveling fans during the CR Awards this year. Yes, that show is better but it's still an 8 out of 10.
- I don't like to shittalk ANN. They got their opinions and all but their coverage of Lazarus was awful.

Welp, it's been a few months and it's safe to say..... Yeah, I was right.
Our two big action anime of the season.... And they are the most basic bitch anime there. Only one of them is slightly passable.

Welp, last time on this perspective, I listed out my bottom tier QT movies and well, I got 6 more to talk about. And I got good news, the remainder of his films I'm going to talk about are going to get mostly positive. Yeah, the last three, I did had some positive things about them and all but they were movies I would ever go back to nor would I add in my Blu-ray collection.

Yes, this is last minute but I did an album review... well, on my site. It's on the new De La Soul record and I can easily say it's one of the best albums to come out and could be my top favorites once I'm doing lists.

MAK MUSIC ALBUM REVIEW: De La Soul – CABIN IN THE SKY
OK, I normally don't post single album reviews here but this is an exception since I had to talk about this one. So if you don't know De La Soul, here's a refresher -- hip hop trio starting from the late 80s, known for their eclectic sampling/eccentric lyrics & contributing to both jazz rap and alternative hip-hop subgenres in the early 90s, songs like "Me Myself and I" ,"Stakes is High" and "All Good?" are a few examples and there's also them collaborating with Gorillaz several times with "Feel Good Inc." being the first time.
