How he was ever a TV personality escapes me. He exuded creepiness. My late mother used to get the same ick when she saw him that she got from Savile. (She liked Harris though, so she wasn't infallible).

It was clear during her leadership campaign she was nuts. Look at her claim that dissatisfaction with her education led her to join the Tories (her education was under the Tories, and she joined the LibDems). Also her reaction when she got caught out over the cost of a policy - blame everyone else.

The best Western of all time, imho. One of the rare times I’ve sat in a cinema and realised I was watching an instant classic.

It’s my favourite by a distance. Lack of discussion may be because it came out at the end of the British horror boom, after some of the seminal books on the subject. Also, being owned by WB, it hasn’t been licensed to any of the companies who have fantastic releases of the other Amicus anthologies.
