Congrats. Hopefully I can finish my stuff by the end of this year (publishing article & interviews I’ve done)

As someone who hadn’t played any Splinter Cell games, watching those two episodes felt like a chore.

Say what you will about the director of Captain Laserhawk, but that style of IP mashup felt fresh as someone that mainly watches adaptations.

Happy that Tomb Raider S2 made it out okay though.

They saw that one reaction compilation to the E3 announcement of Shenmue III and assumed the hype was still strong

I’ve watched all 6 episodes of Captain Laserhaw and I found it to be a neat surprise.

Ubisoft gave the team full creative control, and they used it to play with different styles; @bobbypillsstudio.bsky.social deservere a shout-out for the animation; more engaging than most IP mashups.

Good video. I share pretty much the same thoughts.

I already messaged you this, but for anyone else, someone at @currentaffairs.bsky.social also wrote their big essay on this show and its hidden depths five years ago: www.currentaffairs.org/news/2020/07...
Revisiting ‘Legends of Chamberlain Heights’
The quickly-canceled Comedy Central show was raucous, ridiculous, and controversial—and exactly right for the current moment.

Wasn‘t sure where he was going with that “getting ass-f*cked “ metaphor, but he turned it around with a VERY sound and funny point.

Not familiar with this guy, but I’m glad to see a number of his YouTube videos has CC subtitles I can auto-translate.

Thanks for taking the time to subtitle this!🙂👍🏽

Funny enough, this year, I was able to get the original creator(s) of that old Newgrounds parody short to get interviewed on this podcast covering old flash cartoons.
