Does anyone have a wandering.shop invite they would be willing to extend to me? I am not on Mastodon, and I am looking to diversify my social media platforms, so to speak. I am not very interested in the larger general servers, and I feel not a good fit for many of the more niche servers. 😅

I have never been a Taylor Swift fan (though some people have given me an appreciation for her prowess), but as a deep cuts Grimes girlie who watched Claire go down the Elon Musk/conservative koolaid path, I must say that I feel for all of the fans who are getting vocally uncomfortable rn.

Henry's writing about about institutional actors more than the mass public, but the basic collective-action point relates to mass protests as well--a means of signaling the scope of opposition, unafraid and peaceful. Put me in mind of the No Kings day planned for 10/18, which can't come soon enough.

I cannot stress this enough: my life would be dramatically different without social media. Though I can be curmudgeonly, I am so deeply grateful for the connections I've made.

Mostly, my mom would have just been so relieved and proud of me for leaving the goose-befouled shirt outside. I feel like this must be a uniting factor for all mothers of children with animal-helping-and-catching proclivities. (Also, this thread was a delight to read)

My ranked order: Bayonetta 2, Bayonetta, Cereza, Bayonetta 3. I think 2 struck a great balance with improving upon the gameplay, staying true to Bayonetta as a character, and giving a good (albeit silly, because duh) story. Though, sidetone, the OG character design is still my fav!

I think it is the weakest in the series, and I am including Cereza and the Lost Demon (even though it is a much different vibe haha). The story is the weakest element, which was the most disappointing part for me as an avid Bayonetta fan. I was a bit bummed by the end.

Revisiting Ill Feelings by Alice Hattrick, and aside from my appreciation for her deeply personal and insightful look at chronic illness and the politicized ill body, it gives me some hope that I can keep plugging away at my work and eventually I will see it to fruition.
