Looks like ships Belos (SE) and Turva (FI) are investigating not only broken comms cable C-Lion 1 but also Nordstream at the moment.

During the day they have been stationary over both the pipelines and the cable. Those are right next to each other. Curly line = cable.

Network engineer? Inquisitive?

We don't know this. But the AIS-track below indicates a 3rd cable, a brand new one, might be affected by last days suspected sabotage.

Goes by Aurora, GlobalConnectCarrier. Maybe AS42525? Is it online? Did it see any issues?

In other news. Swedish minesweeper M77 has spent a good part of the day doing something close to what I believe is Aurora, a brand new comms cable. Their words: "Super mega fiber cable"

Yi Peng 3 passed that exact spot. Probably worth more investigation. Not sure the cable is even operating yet.

RU ship Yantar has been shadowed by various naval units last days (Guardian).

Still, UK+US find her activities right now interesting enough to have two P8 aircraft on back-to-back missions over her.

Either the ship shadows left or Yantar's activities requires the additional capabilities of P8's

RU intel/sabotage ship Yantar was 188 meter inside Ireland's exclusive economic zone as she yesterday made her presence known for 6 min.

As previously reported she was right next to an important LNG pipeline (and a comms cable) That distance is 72 meter.

This was a meticulously orchestrated show.
Russian intel/sabotage ship Yantar showed her flag exactly on top one of Irelands LNG pipelines yesterday, comms cables are only close by.

LNG is Irelands main electricity source.

Opinion: Russia/GUGI is intimidating Ireland by this action. It is 100% a deliberate choice to turn on the AIS.
