Cactus Club has a reputation of soulless generic restaurant in Calgary. But the butternut squash ravioli with fried sage and prawns is legitimately an excellent dish worth going out of your way for. I haven't found a better butternut squash...

This project was just to do fill a bit of a gap around this time for the Asian community. I didn't expect it to get this far. I thank a lot for @creamsodaferret.bsky.social taking on this project and hope other artists will do the same every lunar new year.

Having Opa. Probably the best Canadian chain. Their Greek seasoned fries are fantastic and the pita lamb wrap always hits with a nice toasted thick Greek pita.

Calgary has an oddly strong Carribian demographic. You can find many Jamaican specialties here. A fantastic jerk chicken and curry chicken with peas and rice can be found here. Also a great beef patty.

Got something smaller for dinner. Naan place but these are more like cal zones. The creamy chicken Naan is amazing, spicy with a perfect garlic cream sauce. A steal for $12 on half is huge, big enough for one meal.

Was oddly proposed Filipino with family. Uncommon but due to a boyfriend of my cousin being Filipino. This place is okay, good representation with crispy Pata but Sisig doesn't use pig face and the adobo is oddly sweet.
