Gov. Gavin Newsom has signed a law that will require streaming advertisements to have the same audio level as the shows they interrupt.

Starting in July, the volume level of ads on streaming services like Netflix, Hulu, and HBO Max must match that of the content.

Expect other states to follow.

I’m seeing lots of people watching horror movies for October but not nearly enough people talking about my personal favourite The People Under the Stairs.

I can’t even tell you why I love it so much but y’all should watch it this spooky season.

The client received my puppets, they loved them and I’m stoked. I’ve spent the last week pretending to not be waiting for this news 😅

This was such a milestone for me. This is the first time I really feel like an artist.
Someone said “hey do this art thing and I’ll give you money” and then I did 🎉

Writing Project update: I finished applying the edits I did from my last read through. YAY 🎉

I'm on track for self publishing by end of year.

I'll spend this week planning some extended scenes and then the month implementing them.

You're not technically minded? Start a consortium of like minded people, raise funds and hire a team of devs.

Start Leftsky, a platform with perfect moderation and perfect leadership.

AtProtocol is built so that if you don’t like the CEO you can simply build a new bluesky with all the same posts without the bluesky!
Of course maybe it’s not that “simple” but it’s set up that way, but I suspect the loudest voices are waiting for the perfectly unproblematic someone else to do it.
