AI can lift the tasks that slow us down, but humans bring insight, empathy, and creativity. The real opportunity lies in upskilling and reimagining work so that people can do what only humans can. That’s where true change begins.

Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday. Aside from the worry of perfectly cooking the turkey (now thankfully my son Jack’s responsibility!) Thanksgiving is about great food, even better company, and taking time to appreciate all we have to be grateful for.

Empathy helps us understand each other... but it’s compassion that creates change. When we turn understanding into action, we make a real difference. Don’t stop at feeling for someone. Take a step that helps.

I’ve taught my kids that life isn’t always fair... promotions get missed, hard work isn’t always rewarded. One day, something won’t go their way, and it’ll hurt. But resilience grows in the “now what?” moments, where character is built. That’s what will carry them forward.

If your cup is always empty, how are you supposed to help anyone else fill theirs? Part of being a good leader or #mentor is caring for yourself before you try to help others. Not to imply you need to be perfect to start helping someone; sometimes we fill our cups BY mentoring others.

Parenting taught me #mentorship: patience, vulnerability, and authentic leadership. Empathy and clear communication matter... with kids and coworkers. Staying open, #adaptable, and tuned in is so valuable.
