Congratulations on your new DEI program, Columbia! Who knew it would be a good idea to offer trainings to help folks understand the history of a persecuted people and learn to overcome their deeply rooted prejudices?? 🤣

Without due process, we are all undocumented.
"I want people to be safe and protected. I want to live on the right side of history. I am an immigrant. My parents are refugees from Chile. We fled a dictatorship and I was privileged enough to grow up in the United States after asylum in Denmark. I stand by those protections, always."

Barb Warwick: Corey O’Connor was my City Council Rep. I’m voting for Ed Gainey.
Corey O’Connor was my City Council rep for 10 years. I’ve held that seat since Dec. 2022—giving me unique insight on the difference between his leadership style and that of Mayor Ed Gainey. During Cor...

No matter what this Administration tells the American people, the law is very clear: Members of Congress have a legal right to enter any DHS detention facility to conduct oversight without prior notice - something I’ve done twice this year without issue.

He's voting for Mayor Gainey:

"In public meetings, O’Connor seemed to stay in the back glad-handing folks, rarely speaking up and never solidly siding with the neighborhood. By contrast, Gainey walked our streets, listened and made terminating the MOC a campaign promise — that he fulfilled."

I worked on product development engineering projects for 30+ years. You need to do root cause analysis to solve problems thoroughly. Under Mayor Gainey, Pittsburgh has been doing that.

One pilot project to improve worker safety also saved $10M!

Let’s talk about Paid Sick Leave here in Pittsburgh. This act would not have been possible without the hundreds of workers, both union and non-union coming together to demand that everyone in Pittsburgh have the right to paid leave at work. No one person was responsible for it. It was all of us.

CommUnity. In 3 years we've made incredible progress building a Pittsburgh for all.

We've invested in our children, delivered $600M for downtown, reduced gun violence by 44%, built/preserved more affordable housing than any administration in 20 years, and have the lowest unemployment rate in SWPA.
