if we are ever lucky enough to get control back, our first order of business should be to appropriately tax the wealthy donors that enabled this disgraceful presidency to occur, ensure they are NEVER able to gain the level of wealth to do it again and put their money 100% towards education

Hillary was by no means a powerhouse candidate.
She had years of oppo research and negative coverage. She had steady headwinds from a solid but not overwhelming sexist segment, and she was the epitome of an establishment candidate.
Which is probably more important for why fuckery was such a factor

If people believe Comey “sealed the deal,” then Hillary wasn’t the powerhouse they believed. Think about it: Trump took more bad press than ten presidents combined...and still won...twice. If Comey broke her...she was already cracked.
