Made a page on my website with instructions on how to disable AI features for a variety of services (mainly the ones I encounter at the moment, will append to the list as I go).

The list so far includes Github, Google Services, Firefox and DuckDuckGo.

They act like they own Nashville, much to the chagrin of all the blue voters here. They completely bypassed the people in the city to greenlight Elon's stupid tunnel project.

I don't begrudge charter students per se. I just think the existence of charter schools weakens the entire system. I never even realized how many of them there are.

Fantastic!

Huh, my school is one of the 4 MNPS high schools that were supplanted by charters in the pilot. Sucks for our students. 7 charter high schools on the list--I wonder if that's all of them?

I doubt the Teslas will be full more often than a bus, though, especially if the destination is the airport. Shady mathematics from the Boring people.
December 6, 2025 at 5:01 PM
Okay, I found the numbers. Basically, it depends on the number of passengers. A fully loaded 40 ft bus vastly out performs a Tesla with 2 passengers (0.05 KWh peer passenger mile vs. 0.1 KWh per passenger mile) but a Tesla with 5 passengers does better: (0.04 KWh per passenger mile).

Also, their calculations don't include the energy cost of making the tunnels in the first place.
