Sussan Ley *shouting* that she hasn’t seen Penny Wong shed a single tear, in an obviously-scripted tirade for the assembled cameras.

What an opportunistic embarrassment she is.

Albanese has I think showed very strong leadership in the wake of the Bondi massacre. Has not attempted to self aggrandise as others have, has stayed out of the gutter politicking by Ley and Frydenberg. Got on with tightening gun laws.

The Victorian opposition is now a religious, cooker debating club masquerading as a centre-right political party. If journalists were to ask them questions (you know, do their job) about abortion, LGBT+ rights, assisted dying etc. they’d crumble like a deck of cards.

I find myself completely unable to function today. I’ve seen a child surrounded by the flames of what was her family home. Starving babies. Defeated, broken men. Women cradling their shrouded children. It’s too much. And yet I still have to hear ‘but Hamas..’ FUCK OFF. Israel is committing genocide

Was the State Library of Queensland forced by the state arts minister to rescind Ren Wyld's book prize & fellowship after she'd travelled to Brisbane for the ceremony? If you punish someone for opposing genocide, you need to say that out loud for the record, not just leak it to the Oz. How shameful.
