If you’re blaming voters who didn’t in the presidential because of Gaza instead of (1) people who affirmatively voted for Trump or instead of (2) Joe Biden, who repeatedly broke the law to help a man who wanted him to lose, maybe pause before you post.

The people of Georgia, Serbia & Slovakia are lessons in how to fight against authoritarianism and defend democracy. 🇬🇪🇷🇸🇸🇰🇪🇺

As the US faces its gravest democratic threats for generations, inspiration can be found elsewhere.

#GeorgiaProtests, Day 57.

The people of Georgia are a case study in resistance.

It’s the 57th consecutive day of protest. Today people hit the streets in 7 cities.

A people fighting against an authoritarian regime threatening their democracy.

This was in Tbilisi tonight.

I am reminded of the old Soviet joke. ChK (later KGB) searching some guys house. His friend asks, are they almost done? Yeah - says the guy - they dug up my whole garden. Friend - send them over to my house, my firewood needs splitting.

🇬🇪The data on 32% protest participation in Georgia is astonishing.
32% of Georgia’s population is roughly 1.2 million people.

Proportionally, that would be
➡️ 107 000 000 in 🇺🇸
➡️ 21 000 000 in 🇬🇧
➡️ 26 000 000 in 🇩🇪

It signals Georgian Dream’s inevitable downfall.

Tbilisi, Day 20!

If there was a World Cup of Protests, we’d just give the trophy to Georgia every time.

20 straight days of defiance by the people in the face of regime violence.

Today, 10 different protests are planned in the capital.

A Christmas of Heroic Resistance.
