The worst thing about waiting for the US to be over is the waiting period. It could be years. And it's so tiresome to read all the daily dramas occurring in a country headed for the rubbish heap, listening to people who actually believe the US can be salvaged

Stephen Miller and Roy Cohn look so much alike, and so incredibly creepy, they could be brothers

Some guy's name is Sean and he calls himself Diddy. Shouldn't that alone disqualify him from being of general interest?

So many pundits talking about things maybe getting better after 2026. The US is toast already.

Theoretically I'm happy to see the demise of the Evil Empire. The world will be better off.
But it's such a daily grind to watch it fall apart..

US definition of "Tren de Agua" gear-
"Clothing associated with the gang includes “high-end urban street wear.”
"Urban" is Republican for non-white.

Lawrence Wong, the Prime Minister of Singapore's recent speech. Just so informed and precise, no drama. All I could think is Amerkkka is toast

Every damn news story is about Trump. And it's all the same disaster

It's a strange sudden realization that the people of the US have now joined the ranks of other failed democracies. I think many folks haven't embraced this new reality and still expect the US will return to the kind of normal that existed pre-Maga.

Why do people keep calling DOUCHE, DOGE?

I was never a huge fan of the US, but it's a strange feeling to be living in a dying culture and looking out as the rest of the world moves on.

Last year, Republicans silenced her.

This year, many stood beside her and defeated four anti-trans bills.

This is the power of standing up for your beliefs and for what's right, and good trouble.

National Democrats, take notice.

Why is this being called a shouting match in the press?
The only people shouting were the idiot, spouting lies, and Miss Manners saying Zelensky hadn't properly written his thank you notes. Zelensky was as composed as a person could be while trying to talk sense while the other two blathered.

Finally someone had the courage to stand up to the Orange Emperor and speak the truth.
Hats off to you, Mr. Zelensky.

Someone find every Harper's Letter signatory to see if they've said anything about this
The U.S. attorney in Washington says DOJ "will be vigilant in standing against entities" like the Associated Press, that "refuse to put America first."

The AP's transgression is, apparently, not adopting the president's preferred name for the Gulf of Mexico.

Government efficiency is when every federal agency has to send a daily emergency email to its workers telling them to ignore another daily email from a different department trying to fire them without knowing what their jobs are.
