Weber State administrators told student they couldn't present their research on the state's anti-DEI law at an on-campus conference on censorship(!) unless they removed all mentions of DEI from their slides

Hmmm. No, but I’ll admit to substantial curiosity.

Easy to laugh at the noisy announcement of undercover operation...but it's not so funny if the point isn't to infiltrate fictional "leftist terror cells" but to frighten and intimidate normal regular Democrats.

Fortunately, it's likely that it's just a campaign press release. But still.

Obviously not the main point here, but it's interesting how this is framed as content rather than policy.

"BREAKING" is typically what journalists or influencers say when they have a big story -- not what government officials say when they launch "undercover" operations

I’ve received multiple death threats + doxing (including my home address) directly following harassment from Turning Point USA, Jack Posobiec, Andy NGO, + Fox News which called me an antifa ‘financier.’

I have been forced to move my classes online.

If journalists want to talk, DM me or reply here.

There's a million-dollar mobile game to be made out of the job of line management at airports, by the way. Shortening and lengthening queues so that people are never hanging out in an unmanaged hallway space and never walking through useless empty queues.

#litcrit pals, a really interesting question about the history of discipline from a graduate student here, a question that has me totally stumped:
"which journal in literary criticism was the first to implement modern peer review?" (I think he might mean blind review)
Thank you for your suggestions!

This suggests that the CIA’s Office of General Counsel has been throwing up roadblocks to things that Ratcliffe wants to do.

Being "the Italy guy" in my social circles means a lot of people reach out to me with questions about Operation Gladio/the years of lead I'm not equipped for.
"Did the French blow up the Ustica flight?"
"Did the CIA/KGB/Mossad kill Aldo Moro?"
Dude. I spent today reading about fishing cooperatives.

Received this video from a former staffer of mine. It’s a leaking pipeline in the Permian Basin. They called the Carlsbad field office and no one picked up, so it can’t be reported or followed up on.

The cost of the shutdown will be felt for decades.
