....which results in poor service to the public and businesses. Yet these deliveries are of vital importance to our national infrastructure. Indeed the workers involved in all cases were 'key workers' during the pandemic. There is a great need for a holistic approach to this issue.

Thank you @chrisbloore.bsky.social One of the issues concerning RM is they are undercut by the likes of EVRi. RM have the universal service obligation to adhere to (though it needs rewriting) whereas EVRi and other courier companies are unregulated. This has created a race to the bottom....

Absolutely....lots to do still, but progress under our Labour government. After fourteen years of incompetence it will take some time yet to turn things around. But positive results are being seen now @antoniabance.bsky.social
