Geting close to being ready to launch a Kickstarter fro DREAMHOUSE. I got feedback from two trusted creator friends over the weekend and they could not have been more different. I am legit cackling at how much of a weird rorschach test of a comic I've made.

I know several satellite companies that are not encrypting their downlinks. It's sort of mindboggling.
Researchers pointed a satellite dish at the sky for 3 years and monitored what unencrypted data it picked up. The results were shocking: They obtained thousands of T-Mobile users' phone calls and texts, military and law enforcement secrets, much more: www.wired.com/story/satell... 🧵👇

Che et al. investigate volcanic basalt retrieved from the far side of the Moon by the Chang'e-6 spacecraft. They determine the age of the volcanism, 2.8 billion years, and constrain the geochemical origin of the magma and the underlying mantle.

someone sent a PR to a project I haven’t actively maintained in 6-7 years. I couldn’t resist the temptation to checkout the branch and test the PR even before merging it…

Testing 7 year old code written in python2.7 should be fine right? 😅

I wanted to write a clever post about my daughter getting her drivers license today, and insert a meme to make it clever.

then I realized this was a good reason to try Sora, and I'm pretty impressed with it already. the prompt: "nervous teenage girl driving a car for the first time"

not bad!

To understand the widespread latent hostility toward American health insurance companies, read this.
Storytime.

In 2005, my mom died from cancer, but the real cause was the actions taken by an insurance company 12 years earlier. What happened to her was evil, hard to identify or fight, and hidden from the public by legal mechanisms. Because of that, I have no idea how often it has happened.
