NUREMBERG is an Important Film That Knows It's an Important Film, and the leads do the type of Great Acting That Typically Wins an Oscar. You should see it despite all this self-awareness, but the more interesting acting comes from Leo Woodall & Michael Shannon, who aren't trying to win awards.

WICKED FOR GOOD: Don't listen to the dissin'. It's a darker film that spends more time on psychological complexities and demands more of the viewers, but it's just as good as the first one.
Bonus points for quoting THE GREAT DICTATOR and remembering the word for "good deed doers."

Last night Jenn and I watched our traditional holiday movie, The Bishop's Wife. Highly recommended. Cary Grant plays an angel named Dudley who comes down from heaven to help a fussy bishop build a cathedral, but instead hits on the guy's wife the whole time. Perfect Christmas movie
