As an editor, I want to share this nifty method I came up with to help find useful comp titles:

SETTING x PLOT

Where the first comp = a book with similar world-building or setup, and
the second comp = a book with similar themes or plot

Note that this format is best used for SFF. Examples below!

Everyone tells you to “stick to one genre” and “make it more commercial,” but here I am writing poetry, prose, and picture books in THREE languages and one of those books sold in less than a week on sub.

There will always be people out there who support your work and want to read it. Don’t give up!
