I also said goodbye to my therapist yesterday, too. I couldn’t keep her with my new insurance plan, and my old insurance pulled out of my area.
I got lucky, she was very helpful and also was trauma informed, which I didn’t even realize I needed. She helped me piece together so much.

My grandfather passed away this morning. He was in decline for a while, so it’s not unexpected, but still a tough way to start the new year. I had a chance to say goodbye to him yesterday, at least, but it’s still sad that he’s gone. He was a very important part of my life.
