the nhl rulebook is odd. there’s so much detail where you don’t expect it and so little detail where you want it.
like for high sticking, there’s nothing in rule 61 about knocking a stick out of a guy’s hands. there’s not even anything in there about breaking a stick. it’s all ref discretion.
