Lots of doom and gloom on here about employment prospects. Feeling a lot like ol' 2008 lately. Guess this movie I'm watching is fucking with me too because it's about precisely that. It takes place before the election when the bailouts were still theoretical and the malaise was fresh.

I am presently grappling with a choice. My subtotal is over-budget so I must choose. I believe that The Spirit of the Samurai (2024) is the more enlightened choice, not in the least because I actually have HD1 on PS5 (but I'm not sure that's ideal for me; is it _really_ a controller game? I dunno.)

With November's close looming before me I am acutely aware that I need to get down to business and:
- Finish N64 controller refurb (3 more controllers + 1 revisit of the 1st controller's button and cable seating)
- Test the 3rd party power supply to evaluate whether or not it solves that joint issue

I wonder how much controlling interest in Nvidia I'd need to buy to get them to bring back PhysX support and improve the goddamn drivers a bit more. Surely more than I could ever hope to afford from several lifetimes of work.

In general I like pork rinds just fine except for those really tough, unchewable bastards that always sneak into every bag. Those things could shatter diamond.

I can't say that I'm entirely surprised that by all indications Michael Bay and his Hollywood corporate brigands essentially stole Skibidi Toilet from the original creator through a bit of creative Hollywood legalistics and accounting. Supposedly DaFuqBoom ain't being paid squat and has no input.

Nvidia's claims that it ain't like Enron don't really seem as though they track but I haven't taken the time to drill down into an analysis of why. My one salient thought is this: are their fundamentals _really_ sound when they're causing massive computer part cost inflation across the board?

We did something different with the credits for Demonschool. We used this format: name, title, lengthy description of what they did. Often you see credits in games where you don't know what the credited developer was actually responsible for. We wanted to give people proper, actual credit.
