It’s been a number of years since I added and promoted an #easteregg in With Love from Lumon, and no one’s followed through with the final step yet. Tbh, the original prize has come and gone, but I’ve been willing to adapt that prize to something new if someone was to come forward.

For real though, it’s my birthday today and I’m ready to start working on not hating this day. I’m the overlooked middle child in a large family with a bday just after Christmas. Historically, it’s been a yearly reminder of how little people care to notice me. I’m bigger than that now.

This should be the biggest story in the country right now. The sitting US President was extorting state lawmakers from his own party by threatening to withhold public money if they didn’t gerrymander for him.

I… don’t like DLC. Not in a “they’re charging extra to sell the finished game” kind of way. That’s bad too. But just like expansions to a card game or board game, they often interfere with a player’s ability to enjoy a clean, unified experience.

So I’ve created three games at this point ( frentzpatrick.itch.io ) and with each one, I’ve said, “That’s not a real game. My next will be a real game.” But really, I’m wanting to tell stories through the medium of game development. I don’t really care if it’s considered a game to have a shop sim.
