Further proof that The Game Awards are NOT the Oscars for video games. The organization does not care about people who make games. It's a glorified E3 trailer showcase.

1) bad graphics do not equate to a bag game and complaining about bad graphics does not equate to criticism. dig deeper. i beg you.
2) pokemon is not targeted at 30+ y/o men. it's fine if it doesn't spark the same joy it did when you were 4. its called getting older.

Don’t listen to the meanies! Scarlet and Violet are phenomenal Pokemon games.
One of the best modern Pokemon games held back by its performance. I really hope folks give it a second chance, and maybe even dip their toes in competitive before writing it off.

The problem with The Game Awards is that I honestly don’t believe anyone that works on it truly cares about the art and work that goes into video games. They just want to play and consume them. The Oscars is all about honouring the people, from those behind the scenes to the stars on the screen.

2024 was a great year! After a number of great years of therapy, it was the year I manifested and discovered who truly mattered to me and my life! Thank you to everyone who does!

I haven't stopped thinking about In A Violent Nature since I saw it last week. I'm a sucker for anything Canadian, including strolls through its wilderness, so I loved the slow-and-steady pace between each gruesome kill.
