Justice department folks undermining justice. GOP women setting back women. "Christians" corrupting christianity. FBI ruining intelligence/public safety. Defense officials being offensive. Health department destroying our health. Education officials ruining education. This is Trump & the GOP.

The structure and kind of people that enabled Epstein to do what he did while everyone knew what was going on, is exactly the same structure and kind of people around Trump who enable and embolden him to do incredible damage to our country and the world.

Good morning, Matthew. I devoured biographies of important women as a young girl. I wanted to become a physician after reading about Emily Blackwell.

...that it exists just tor us. People we meet sometimes have this effect too; they look into our eyes, and speak in a hushed, intimate voice, and make us feel we’re uniquely important to them - before going on to do the same to someone else. In life, we call these people flirts....

"Business has been arranged to suit men; women, upon entering any new branch of labor, are required to accept its existing conditions. There are many kinds of work which women could do perfectly well if they could modify these conditions. ”

I had the delight of attending Christmas Eve service at the National Cathedral in DC when Desmond Tutu presided. It was transcendent. 💛 His humanity & practical approach to facing dark times with grace lifted the lives of those present…

What delightful hosts are they—
Life and Love!
Lingeringly I turn away,
This late hour, yet glad enough
They have not withheld from me
Their high hospitality.
So, with face lit with delight
And all gratitude, I stay...

You know what was weird last week? I didn’t see anyone fired for quoting words actually spoken by Jane Goodall.

Though Trump has historic lows on approval for a President at this point in his second term overall, white evangelical christians today give him a 72% approval. They don't care that he lies all the time, that he was mixed up with Epstein, that he bashes immigrants, and never goes to church.

Some times in America we have the exact right President in office to lead in crucial moments (i.e. Lincoln). But at other times we have the exact wrong President in office (i.e. Andrew Johnson). Today we have the worst President in our history in office at a most crucial moment.
