As usual the BBC anti cycling bias. When the Tour of Britain comes to my town, it brings in hundreds of extra visitors for the day. It's so popular that it's been here twice, because the county and town council actively encourage the Tour to come here. The TDF is 10 times bigger than TOB

I've gone back to buying DVDs and Blu Rays most of my favourite movies are either not available, on a streaming service I don't pay for, or I have to buy them for too much. I pick them up for between 10 & 50 pence each. I've bought loads of Disney ones too. I'll rip them to local storage sometime

USB heated socks are my favourite keep warm accessory, mine keep my permafrost feet warm for at least 6 hours on the medium setting. I did get a heated gillet from Temu, but I haven't tested it in anger. Cost me £7 in a deal!

Too many chiefs and too many direct entrants at that level, not enough experienced indians, who are leaving. It's too big a department, with too many responsibilities, it just can't deal with them all.

Can't cook unless your electric appliances have electricity. These people would rather have a great big power station than green energy stations, but so long as the big ugly power station isn't anywhere near their homes.

Too many new houses being built round here, all far to big, 3 & 4 bed properties, too expensive for my kids to buy, and they wouldn't get a mortgage, unless you're dumb enough to get one of those shared ownership schemes. No flats or small two bed houses. I agree, get councils to buy them.
