The next two releases will carry on the theme of the EP, bringing to light material I wrote when I was younger, and trying to get as close as possible to what I intended at the time but never had the material or mental resources to see through. It’s been huge fun doing this one!!

…along with a remastered version of my 2018 LP with new mixes and all-new tracks from those sessions. It’s a ‘‘‘‘more fully-realised representation of the original creative vision’’’’ an official release, rather than popping it on Soundcloud and then my life suddenly exploded 👍👍

If I was a podcaster I would simply choose either an SM7b or an electro voice RE20, whichever I liked the sound of the best. I would pair this with a preamp that was fairly transparent but still imparted some harmonic colouration. But my twist is I’d speak down a toilet roll

Was about to say there’s no such thing as a fascist microphone but Hitler loved Neumann LDCs. Probably a bit problematic that most of your favourite music has someone singing into the Hitler mic. Not great for podcasts though, you can make out the topography of someone’s larynx through one of those

Yeah it was decent. Would’ve been a touch lighter if it stayed in another fifteen minutes but the meat was just perfect. It’s all a balancing act!

Look man you can’t tell people that you write songs and all you have are garage band demos and an 8 track LP that never even got released. These are not the deeds that will adorn my tomb. If they’re shitty songs let them be fully realised shitty songs. Let them Cost Money

Genuinely have so much new music to release and none of it is actually new music, it’s all old songs and I’m recording of them as I imagined them at the time when I was too mentally ill or too poor or too just needed to find a drummer. I’m no longer those things and I’m having the time of my life
