Welp. I guess I'm gonna spend today thinking about how one state proposing a trans bathroom ban was enough for a national outcry and protest in 2016 and now 9 years later the propaganda has done enough damage that a sweeping nationwide federal ban just went through and we won't hear a peep

Believe them!! This shit has been going on for so long and was not my story to tell publicly but has been so painful to watch friends go through.

Spoke with Surena, checked in, and I’m only going to say a few things. (Even if she did say I can let the chopper sing) The only reason I’m saying anything is because while everyone wants to step away “until they have all the facts”, that didn’t stop many people from spreading the lies via texts.

I did an event in DC & there was a party for donors etc after. Was talking to 2 ppl & I said "Things are so bad." They said "No this is how it is. Things swing one way, then another. It's normal."

what people seem to believe is that there is a large number of criminal, layabout immigrants who can be easily found and deported. they support doing so snd are dismayed by the deportation of otherwise law abiding people. the problem is that the criminal group is imaginary!
Wow. New CBS poll finds majority (55%) supports the *general goal* of deportations, but a bigger majority (56%) dislikes how Trump is carrying them out. And 63% want due process.
