i'm extremely pleased with how well the german version de.pghrt.diy has come together. this was my bottleneck, but now whenever other translators finish i'll be able to have the new translation up within the hour without a hitch. we looooove robust parameterization and localization-agnostic code!!!!

It’s certainly possible that AVs could reduce future crashes. But it’s not a given, and they definitely don’t offer the only (or optimal) way to do so.
Consider: Several European cities have gone a full year without any traffic deaths. None relied on robotaxis to do it.
