This! But what most Americans don't understand is that Immigrants and what they pay has been funding America for it's whole existence. Unfortunately this is first thing that Authoritarianism hits. They hit what funds a functional government. Period!!
The reason there is popular support on the right for those soldiers in the streets is they believe that the economic problems of America are caused by the presence of immigrants, and getting rid of them will bring economic prosperity back to the American working class.
