one cool thing about living in a walkable neighborhood is that you may have to go to the hardware store and while you're walking there you might have a chance encounter on the street with a famous YouTuber like @nerd4cities.bsky.social

April is c-section awareness month! Reflecting as I count down (16 days) to my 2nd section. I was drugged up, vomiting thru surgery, exhausted from laboring all day, & worried for my son who had to be resuscitated. Thanks to the surgery & surgeons, I have a healthy 2 y/o. Def not the “easy way out.”

ICE stripped a German green card holder naked, drove him from Boston to Vermont to Rhode Island, put him in a cold shower, deprived him of medication, sleep and food until he collapsed.

I keep seeing posts about “for the last time, audiobooks count as reading!” But I never see what they’re responding to. Do people really not think it’s reading? Or are these pot-stirrers? Because it’s reading.
