I only became a fan this Spring so totally missed his online days

I spent £130 on Squeeze's anniversary tour last year, but that was a front row VIP ticket. Can't see me paying that for any artist again (unless XTC miraculously get back together for a tour).

Oh, you should definitely. I'm hugely missing being able to play the guitar right now.

Have you seen Stage/Fright on tour?
mealygarage.bsky.social
Not yet (end of next month).

Ah, but would that not switch off seeing reposts from everyone?
mealygarage.bsky.social
Not seeing reposts from individuals instead a blanket repost switch-off.

🎉Exactly four years ago I published my short story collection which is quite fitting for the hallowe'en season. Once I've published my vampire novel next year, I'll be writing another collection. Obligatory link for any curious folk. books2read.com/b/VIFOF1
A book cover in the middle with short teaser of the stories inside with yellow arrows pointing to the book.

There's a very good chance I'll finally be publishing my vampire novel, Jockula, next year. Just spent a good part of the day fixing some minor plot quibbles and other bits on the first draft via my phone. Going to have to wait til after physio on my hand to tackle a big edit on the laptop.

FACT OF THE DAY. 2 October 1925. John Logie Baird, a Scottish engineer and inventor, performed the 1st test of a working TV system in his London lab where he successfully transmitted the 1st TV picture which was a greyscale image of the head of a ventriloquist’s dummy.
