when both wolves inside me died, the deer began to flourish. left unchecked, all flora consumed, starvation took the herd. cascading failure has driven my spiritual ecosystem to total collapse. i cough up their bones and add them to my Bone Man; a skeletal golem built to generate shareholder value,

It's warm enough for bats now, I love watching them from my window, zooming around, snacking on bugs. Here's a quick painting from 2023 I did after seeing them for the first time

This brand of “soft eugenics” is usually just called “eugenics”. They’re not trying to have the “clever” breed, they’re focusing on white people while RFK Jr. and friends actively cancel grants focusing on diseases that disproportionately affect Black people

nothing good has ever come from presenting disabled and sick people as a literal threat to the nation
Mehmet Oz just said on Fox News that:

“It is your patriotic duty to be as healthy as you can”.

thread on antipsychiatry, for fellow media folk especially
Have slept on it and if any editors want me to write on this, please reach out. I have been studying 'antipsychiatry grifters' for many years, as well as our mainstream psychiatric grifters. These are immensely complex and rage-inducing topics and need to be treated with nuance.
"assess the prevalence of and threat posed by the prescription of selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors, antipsychotics, mood stabilizers, stimulants, and weight-loss drugs"

good time time become an antipsychiatry grifter in the US

Artists have always loved to sketch!

Sketch of a sparrow from Egypt dated c. 1479–1458 BC.

Some 3,500 years ago in Egypt, artists used flakes of limestone rather than paper sketchpads!

Knowing the history of eugenics in America means seeing there is no past tense to it. We’re not living with its legacy, we are trying to survive as it actively destroys in different & devastating ways. @sandyernestallen.bsky.social is an essential writer!!!
For the last ~15 years I've studied our mental health care paradigm historically and presently, which is to say, I've studied eugenics. Namely: Some group of people, believing themselves to be scientifically (read: morally) superior exerting control over others, even to lethal ends. Thread 1/
