Color guide from Preacher #16, Vertigo in 1996. Drawn by Steve Dillon, and colored by me with Doctor Martin's dyes and gouache. Back then, we colored color guides on photocopies, and had to write the YRBK color percentages (CMYK, or YMCK.) for the separators.

Looks like Maid Marian plastered her room with posters of her favorite boy band member 😂
Somehow I tricked FB into showing me mostly cartoon history related stuff(?) Not intentional, but it just served up this fun concept art for Disney's 'Robin Hood' (1973) by art director and animator Ken Anderson.
I don't even look at FB much, so hey, I'm not complaining.

Unstoppable Wasp was such a fun book and great team to be part of. The letters column was such a smart addition and years later I still think its so cool to have been featured alongside so many interesting women 💕
In the letters column each month to bridge the gap between super science and the actual potential girl scientists reading the book, we interviewed real female scientist who did everything from engineering, glass science, to studying returning spacecraft for space bacteria!
