Oh dear God, even NPR is using "slams" in headlines now. Call me old fashioned, but I much prefer terms like "criticizes" and "rebukes." In fact, I haven't seen any slamming going on, just a few whining tweets and grumbling complaints. This epidemic must be stopped - "slams" is getting out of hand.

It's not even business hours yet and I've already used this and my other favorite example: COVID as the reason for needing force majeure clause
Congratulations to all the trademark lawyers who now have a concrete example to point to when clients ask if they *really* need to do a clearance search.

Just a reminder: if you find yourself getting a guy you dislike drunk after a party and walking him into the catacombs under false pretenses with the intent to seal him up behind a brick wall, that's almost definitely illegal and also I don't practice criminal law.

Okay, I guess I *kind of* like British Colombia. I wish I was cool enough to be willing to attempt the local slack line, but I'm intimidated by everyone else in Squamish (even though we're all here for the same reason)

I've been following basically every artist I come across because one of my major clients is a newly-formed board game dev/design co that's going to need art in the next couple of months. It's awesome to see everyone's creations. Happy Portfolio Day!

Finally made it to Banff NP, kind of a dream of mine. I found it covered in tourists. I'm hypocritically judging everyone who paid $21 to park at Lake Louise just to take a picture. Especially these losers, taking a lame selfie

Sometimes my whole work-and-dispersed-camping-at-the-same-time thing sucks because our solar shower breaks and I have to finish my shower with ice cold water in a squirt bottle, but other times it's very nice. Definitely planning to go back to the jet setting version in the fall though

This past winter, I went to the Louvre for the first time. It was overwhelming with excess. There's an entire hall that consists solely of empty Egyptian sarcophagi. At what point does a museum have a responsibility or obligation to, like, not do that?

The best part of work-from-home is that I can "work from home" where "home" is a Starbucks near a campground in Ontario and "work" involves being an hour late because I decided to visit an amethyst mine and made out like a bandit 💎
