I’m really happy for New York. Mamdani reminds me a lot of my dad. Idealistic without crossing into the naive, willing to do the work to actually serve the community, AND they attended the same elementary and high schools. I wish he were alive to see this. He would be so proud of his city.

I’m knitting a blanket and it is taking forever. I’m realizing that I used size 5 yarn when in the past I’ve used 6 for this pattern. It’s gonna be cozy as fuck but holy shit this is a lot of work.
