Apparently saying $45 won't do enough to stoke the flames of outrage.

I didn't expect to have such a visceral reaction to photos of the destruction at the White House. Absolutely disgusting.

Guess who just got both the updated COVID vaccine and flu shots today? Your dear Leader Trump. Maybe you should get them too.

A thought I keep returning to — and that’s underscored by today’s news — is that a legacy publication or a deep-pocketed investor could hire an astonishing array of talent right now and make the best newspaper in America overnight.
Well, this is fucked up and depressing.
Rolling Stone fired Alan Sepinwall, Status’ Oliver Darcy reports. That’s probably the end of my subscription.

My airport shuttle business driver has a theory that the quality of cheerleader support determines the Super Bowl winner. He predicts Detroit for this year because it takes 7 years for a good cheerleading program to develop, and then their new cheer energy is stronger than old cheer energy.

The feds are paying more than a million dollars a day to ostensibly (but pointlessly) increase the public safety in DC with National Guard troops. SEPTA needs a lot less than that amount to materially increase public safety in Philadelphia with additional bus routes and expanded late-night service.
ended up helping a 9th grader navigate the bsl and the el today because their normal bus route got eliminated and they’ve never taken the subway alone and were super nervous about it. which you know i have absolutely no problem doing and was happy to help, but get this shit funded, man.

This shirt was a Christmas highlight for my nephew!
Seems like people are talking about the Squonk again. I "designed" a shirt honoring this weepy Pennsylvania creature (legend? cryptid?) and if you buy it right now you'll be the fifth person to own one.
