I have no clue whether "it slaps" is still en vogue.
I do know that the #StarTrek #StarTrekProdigy theme is awesome, huge, and those gongs kick my brain into hype mode. Totally radical and sick, as former kids now with backpain used to say.

It's crazy just how much the theme for Prodigy slaps! (that's something the kids are saying, right?)
Maybe an educated person can answer this question for me: Why is the theme often written by one person and the episodic scores written by someone else? Particularly in our current era.
