I got myself a Douk Audio P10 Pro, which is a portable tube headphone amp. I've already swapped the opamp to a JRC MUSES, and even on its own it sounds very cool. Even more cool with the other tubes in the chain as well (6 per channel!).

I had another 'modern' tube arrive yesterday, an ECC82/12AU7 made by JJ Electronics. The anodes share the same shape as the E88CC they also make. The sub-level bass on this tube is amazing - I find a lot of tubes tend to roll off fast from 50Hz.

3 more tubes arrived today. This is the Psvane 12BH7, which is a modern (2022+) tube made in China. It sounds very good, it has a superb response time, and Psvane added metal rods on the outsides of the anodes to further support the tube.

I got myself a new tube headphone amp - Spartan Music Helot 2x, which uses a single 12AU7 and 12BH7. The stock tubes are Electro Harmonix, made in Russia. This thing sounds amazingly good for just £135 that I paid, and 12AU7s are extremely plentiful here in the UK.
