What Project 2025 and this felon’s administration are doing to democracy is making me feel sick. I have a LGBTQ child I will protect with my life if necessary, but I cannot not fight for the rights of other minoritized and marginalized people. I feel ineffective and disordered. I need direction.

This was my 50th birthday gift for my son and my husband. It took me eight years to figure out what I wanted on my arm and I figured it out in June. There’s definitely a story behind this, but for now, I’ll just say that it represents my son.
And I can’t wait to go back and add more.
