finished No Longer Human. yeah, I don't know. I've seen people say it's really sad, moving, frightening. I think there are some aspects of it, early on, that are really touching and depressing, but it devolves quickly into... I don't even want to go into it.

In Super Mario World, green berries increase the timer. By strategically eating them to make the timer pass 100 multiple times, the music can be sped up repeatedly. It turns out that the music engine cannot handle more than 20 speed-ups, and slows down to a crawl instead.

I think I'm feeling better. I don't know. I feel the most emotionally vibrant I have in years, but it's either elation or misery. Truly and strangely, despite the pain, I'm just thankful that I'm able to feel again. I feel like I forcefully popped my heart open but the trunk slammed against my face.

A long-standing mystery has been solved. This pirate Famicom multicart turned up about 20 years ago, with an unknown piece of Splatterhouse artwork on it. Turns out that artwork is from Marukatsu PC Engine - Volume 16 - April 1990.

also it leaves me feeling inspired to like. watch more silent films. I feel like with the lack of voice, actors prob had to be more expressive when conveying emotions and I think that is something for me to dig into.
