Got drunk. Started ng++ of Elden Ring to finally get the last ending. Beat it in 4 hours. I might have irreparably harmed my opinion of the game.

The gap between what I assumed playing Stranger of Paradise would be like based on everything I had heard about it versus the actual game itself is pretty massive. Which is a bit of a shame, because the game is incredible at what it's actually doing but fails at the expectation I had for it.

The funniest part about The Game Awards is that they keep including esports despite not bothering to make sensible choices. It's filler in the purest sense.

I recognize that it's irrational, but I cannot stand the anime stomach growl sound effect. It shows up so often in JRPGs and shows, and every single time it genuinely makes me consider dropping out.
