I watched "Sinners". I did not like it. It took a long time to build and get to a main event. Then it felt like it had a identity crisis. Drama? Music/Culture celebration? Vampire movie? It felt so disjointed to me. Like it has hints of "Broadway", but also wants to be serious horror/drama? ...eh.

My #SteamReplay. Haven't played as many different games due to my time spending on game development, but still unlocked more achievements this year. Also a clear indication I love my Rogue-lite/likes and extraction shooters.

So James Cameron's third Avatar movie is almost out in theatres and I feel I completely missed the marketing train and any form of hype. With more Avatar movies already on the roadmap this feels like a diminishing returns series of films. I wonder if the audience numbers will get close to 1 or 2.

So Season 1 of #WelcomeToDerry finished this weekend and I really liked it. There's a few iffy moments throughout the season and I'm not a fan of fan-service dialog that winks at the audience. But the storytelling, characters and deeper look into King's interconnected "universe" is all great.

This is the PC port which is based on the PS2 version, it's working with full controller support, just extract and play.

I never expect too much of the #Streamerawards as a production, but they need to go back to the drawing board for next year, what a disaster so far. I haven't felt second hand embarrassment like this in a long time. The show is also too big now for trying edgy jokes that might not be appreciated.

Having the "Hidden Bunker" event be a part of the weekly trials in #arcraiders where you have 1 or 2 times a day to do it is if you don't "plan around it" is not workable. The people in your raid also have to help setting it up too, with a change of getting killed by opportunists.

I've been alternating between Escape from Tarkov and Arc Raiders this past weekend and these games have complimented each other in being the salt and sugar of the genre. I thought EFT would be a lot less interesting after playing Arc, but it has it's own unique strengths and is worth playing.

Interesting... this looks like the PUBG devs are going after Tarkov.
Been participating in this week's "Weekly Trials" in #ArcRaiders. Currently I'm on position 3 of my group, which I will probably not beat with three days left, but I'm quite proud of this achievement. It's been real tense doing some of these as you have competition AND people hunting you down.
